The Wing Retail

The Wing, a community space for women, launched its retail line in Spring 2018 seeing merchandise as another way of spreading the company’s mission of gender equity. Our 4-person retail team partnered with women vendors and dozens of female artists to bring our products to life & donated part of the proceeds to female-focused nonprofits.

The Wing E-Commerce

International Retail & E-Commerce

Our retail team managed 11 physical retail spaces across the US and UK, as well as the e-commerce business & site. Each retail drop featured tees and other merchandise celebrating sisterhood and inclusivity — from gender to sizing. We worked on creating brand awareness through developing apparel & goods with messages that resonated amongst women around the world.

I coordinated merchandise launches across all channels, generated product development ideas using competitive analyses and trend data, led sales reporting for all touchpoints, managed customer service inquiries, & worked cross-functionally with members of the brand creative, design, impact, and marketing teams to ensure successful product strategies and launches.

 

In collaboration with the brand and design teams, we developed an email and social campaign about reclaiming the phrase “A Real Piece of Work”. I shot the photographs, and the campaign helped further bring meaning to our merchandise & showcase the stories of the women that wear it.

Supported organic & paid social media strategy for our products; contributed to influencer and PR efforts, collected user-generated content, and partnered with the growth marketing team to analyze paid ad performance.

 

Photographed the 2020 Merchandise line & helped with producing the photoshoots and bringing the design team’s art direction to life

Supported and analyzed direct response marketing efforts (such as providing free mobile background wallpapers to consumers in exchange for signing up for our email newsletter) & Facebook and Instagram ads that highlighted limited-time product discounts and drove E-commerce sales.
