Nameless Narratives
Ideated & brought to life an interactive pop-up exhibit for Medium Design Collective & created an editorial piece for their publication.
Sharing your story is an act of vulnerability. But with vulnerability comes power. In the digital age we live in, invisibility and anonymity are not much of an option. I set out to give students this option and share their nameless narratives through interactive exhibits placed across campus. Imagine if we were to share the collective experiences of the entire student body. We’d have enough material for several hit movies - and yet many of us dismiss our stories as uninteresting and irrelevant.
Revealing parts of ourselves is an act of generosity that creates instant human connection. We live in a time poor society where we’re encouraged to keep things brief, to stick to the facts, to ditch emotion for logic. But we are imaginative beings. When we give our stories voice we allow them to resonate in the hearts and minds of the people we interact with. Stories ignite our imagination and help us to make sense of the struggles we all face. Personal stories have the power to shape our lives and the lives of our listeners. Tell more of them.
NAMELESS NARRATIVES:
Through pop-up exhibits placed throughout campus, students were able to share their stories with others anonymously.
